Google analytics provides the following numbers (unique visitors) for those Scandinavians accessing the Project6014 download page
Finland 152
Sweden 10
Norway 6
Denmark 3
Iceland 2
Faeroe Islands 0
Greenland 0

This gives you some indication about how insane Finns are vis-a-vis just about anyone else

Interesting Cedric, thanks for sharing. that's really odd, the Scand countires are at about the same level tech. wise so it must be a cultural thing. I'd have expected more Norwegians and Danes really.

It probably has lots to do with initial exposure - if at other countries original Star Control games weren't popular enough to be shared between friends, there might be entire countries unaware of the demo.

Yeah, I meant I assume SC II is less popular in the rest of Scandinavia and I was wondering why. I can't see any good reason for it to be a hit in Finland and not in Norway or Denmark.
