To be fair, it would take longer than 5 seconds. A minute or two?
"You push Source [point to button] and then you choose HDMI Satellite from the list."
That would take around 7-8 seconds to say, or maybe a little more if you're a slow speaker. Adding in how to navigate the menu would only add a few more seconds. The only way it would take a minute or two is if the person explaining it has some excessively complex way of thinking about for some reason.
