It is difficult, I am asking for help of course. Especially since this is most definitely an alternate universe type game. None of the familiar races are in the game (well maybe one or two), none of the puzzles, the history is radically different. In essence, I am using the engine to build a new game.
Premise:
You are the captain of the first interstellar ship (after a few successful short range experiments.) You are charged with exploring the galaxy. During your exploration, you find other races and two opposing (not necessarily warring) stellar factions. You may join either or remain neutral.
Ideas bringing to the game: each race has multiple ship designs ??starbase construction (nothing fancy, consider them to be gas stations you build)?? Technology incorporation (using a new races technology to advance your own) and the biggest one...... support craft redesign (this one is going to be the very last thing implemented after starbase construction)

Best of luck! You'll need it... Such an undertaking is more fit for couple of years by a team of professionals, not a homework project...

Oh, I'm well aware. Especially with all the testing. I'm hoping that some of Cedric's team are willing to work with me. At least one has already talked to me about some resolution issues and ship modeling.
