I think they are just delusional about the Ur-Quans.

Well it's a bit different than in SC3, in SC3 they know they're small and hide in a big robot suit, in my idea they think everyone else is close to their size (they have no reference point for when they are watching stuff on Earth) and they are not ashamed of their size until they find out that everyone else is much bigger.

Your welcome :p SC3 did have some good ideas but it botched them badly. The idea behind the Mycon actually enslaving the young, he Xchagger being a microscopic race, Ortog as Precursors, Races as horrifying sock puppets (Wait, scratch that last one). The problem was they screwed up the Mycon personality, the Xchagger were annoying, the Ortog was too obvious (And frankly the whole Eternal ones idea was stupid) The Lurg need to be both very evil and very powerful, I also think there should be some connection with the Precursors having left, connection to the Orz and Androsynth and most importantly, the Frungy Championship! Eternal ones idea wasn't so bad. It fits smoothly into the story of SC trilogy since the Slylandro said that the Precursors were paranoid and always in rush. This idea with the mini-Lurg conflicts with some facts: They have quite large ships. It would be stupid to waste time building gigantic ships for someone who is 2 inches tall. At the time I was playing SC3, I found K'tang funny. Comic elements just don't fit into the Lurg race. They seem to be a big threat and I think they should be spooky, similarly to the Kohr-Ah.
