There is some discussion on this over at the SCDB as well, but not that much. I can't speak for anyone else, but SC wise I felt that these interviews only rehashed what we've heard before; the Creators want and intend to make a sequel but can't right now. Of course, they were filled with a lot of other interesting stuff as well.

To be honest, I originally posted this in General Discussion, but it was moved to Starbase Cafe.

I know this is a Star Control community, and they didn't talk a *whole* lot about Star Control, nor was there some major Star Control-related announcement, but honestly I haven't seen any sort of interaction with PR3 and FF since that IRC interview a few years back.  Personally I was super stoked to see them being interviewed by a fellow gamer and fellow fan of TFB games.

That was quite entertaining.  I especially liked the story about the Pkunk special ability, and also the Little Witching Mischiefs development tale.

We are all around, but since news have been quite rare these days, I just peek at the foruns every other month or so...

This was a great interview, but I agree that only a new Star Control announcement could heat up this place Smiley

I think the Ur-Quan Masters should be published on digital platforms like STEAM to rise the interest on a sequel.
