Hey guys After quite a while i got the original SC2 again... its the one and only hehe.. Anyways, a few years ago some people who were playing on their own claimed that there is another way to finish the game, other than destroying the sa-matra.. they said that it is possible to meet androsyn somewhere in the hyperspace (or chenjesu, but its far more likely to be the androsyn) and somehow convince them to go after the ur-quan and thus finish the game. I know that it would be the best to ask those people directly, but i can't get in touch with them. Did anyone of you have any similar events, or at least have heard of it? the only way described on the internet is the samatra one...

hm.. true is about orz... about the other stuff, i didn't check.. yet, i definitely have no reason not to believe what i've been told (nor to believe, either ). anyways, what i was told is that they positioned themselves in the ur-quan space, using the 'caster or 'casters, and that after a while they were contacted by the abovementioned...maybe just a rumor, but it would be interesting, wouldnt it?
and while we're at it.. the arilou in quasispace promise to let you onto their surface, all the time mentioning 'numbness' and stuff.. is it possible to 'reach' the state where they actually let you down?

I don't think so. And if these guys say no, they mean it--they have access to all the source code, and all that. The game doesn't contain any pictures of the Androsynth, or any music, or any conversation files, so it's pretty safe to assume you don't talk to them. Same with the trip down to Falayarafali--there'd have to be a picture of it somewhere in the code, and there isn't.

Or they're repeating rumors other people told them. That happens a lot.
I heard so many rumors about secret Easter Eggs in the Final Fantasy games, I can't even count them.

yeah.. its probably so... or my memory has faded during time yet, not many people knew about the game then (or now) so its hardly a pass-on rumor... i'll seek the truth

If it's not in the code, then it's not in the game, so I wouldn't waste my time looking for it.

Now just in counter argument they have the 3DO code not the original it is possible that when 3DO relased theirs they left those "secret parts" out because they were low on funds or didnt care to do the voices or something like that. i'm just listing a posibility. now for the sake of the argument, the reason the new alliance lost the war is because of the sa-matra. that is when the allience was at full power. now just meating a few ships in the middle of nowhere would not be as powerfull as the allaince was in its full might.
