But how does the game feel in comparison (Use of the controller over the keyboard) , do you think it is better or worse then the original DOS game
As onpon4 mentioned, controllers are less prone to key jamming, but you could use those in the DOS version already, so that's not really a difference.
The voices are probably the most noticeable change, and I think the game mostly benefits from them (a few are cringe-inducing, but there are a few great ones too). The fact that some of the dialogue is missing because they forgot to record it is quite an annoyance, though. The 3DO version lacks dialogue text, too, which I'd consider a major failure; I believe strongly that (at the very least) all plot-relevant dialogue should be subtitled.
The movies in the 3DO version are OK, but don't really add that much compared to the PC intro/ending. The remixed music is cool, although I'm surprised the QuasiSpace music was completely replaced.
The 3DO version has these annoying menus and pictograms to replace some of the text; this is only a good thing if your TV is too blurry for smallish text at 320x240.
can the 3DO CD be used as a weapon to kill those responsible for Star control 3, these are the questions I'd like to hear answers to According to Revolution X, CDs are an effective weapon against the uncool, but apparently that's because "Music is the Weapon!" which would suggest that Aerosmith CDs would be more effective. If you want to perform an additional service to mankind, I'd recommend using AOL CDs.
