Hello, all!
So a few days ago I finally printed a design I had in mind for an Orz shirt; I tried to keep it simple and clean, so the figure would be easily recognizable by anyone who played the game, but would still puzzle those who didn't (pretty much everyone I know). However, I still have that stencil-thingy, and I thought that someone might find it amusing or useful, so I’ll post it here. Options are not limited to printing shirts, mind you! If Orz invasion ever takes place, this would be a great stencil for anti-Orz graffiti to lift our spirit when we’re underground, fighting for our lives against fish in mechanoid power-suits.
I’ve always loved the concept of the Orz, especially the frightening thought that they aren’t really a race of individuals, only extensions (*fingers*) of some trans-dimensional being, that invaded our space and consumed the Androsynth. Come to think of it, during an Orz invasion we might not have much time to spray graffiti in the streets. So, it’s not much, but now it’s a shirt, which is definitely something:

I’m afraid the quality of the image I took isn’t great. The black/white backgrounds for the outlines are just different versions for the sake of the printer at the shop (I eventually printed on a black T). If for some reason someone wants the larger .bmp files, where the image quality isn’t reduced, I can always find someplace to dump it. Thanks to Anthony (that also runs starcontroller.com) for referring me here!
Peace, all. Joe.

Is that last shirt glowing? It looks like it has reflective ink or something like that.

No, that's just a weird reflection of the light from the ceiling. It's actually bright green.

A suggestion, if I may - I believe it will look nicer to all knowing and weirder to those that don't if you were to add the gills to them.

Alvarin: That's a good suggestion - in fact, I originally had a version of them with gills! But I just couldn't get them to look right, so I abandoned the idea. Maybe next time, though.

What about "You *smell*!" as the caption? If I didn't know much about Star Control (then I'd lead a sheltered, bitter life), then I'd assume *fingers* was an garage band. But being told I *smell* would get my attention!

Several people asked me why I walk around with a picture of a frog on my chest... Come to think of it, I guess both "*smell*" and "*fingers*", when viewed this way, can be seen as reference to frog-legs. I chose *fingers* because to me, at least, it always conveyed an ominous message - "You're not really dealing with something from this dimension." Their language and mannerism are funny and silly, but they also have this dark side. Since they mostly give me the creeps I preferred to point that out rather than something more amusing.
