Just Started game and already stuck

On my way to earth I thought to look at some planets and found minerals on Triton. I have no idea how to get crew on the lander and land send off the lander. No help in the manual. I am using my keyboard only. Feeling stupid. Any instructions?

When you get on the planet, go to "Scan", then go to "Autoscan". This will scan th planet to see if any life/minerals/something else is on the planet. Then go to "dispatch" and the lander will land on the planet.
Also, the lander restocks with crew automatically.

If you lost the lander, you will not be able to land. But in the beginning, you can get a new lander from the StarBase for free.
