MAC OSX & Mods
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:55:03 pm »

First post and sadly a technical question  Grin I've managed to get the addon music and intro vids working for 0.7 on my Mac running Snow Leopard.  Whilst visiting the Bonepit site I noticed a couple of mods that move the Kohr-Ah "cleansing" event 200 years in the future, as well as extending general game time for days. Is there a way to get these to work for the Mac version? I'm looking at the .diff files but haven't a clue what to do with them.

Thanks for you help guys!

The BonePit FAQ explains how to apply the mods. You first need the UQM source code; apply the diff file as described in the BonePit FAQ before compiling as described in the INSTALL.macosx file in the source code package. Note that this can be a long and involved process.

Or alternatively you could ship me a simple iMac with an intel chipset and then I could build it for OS X.  Grin
