Hi first off I would like to thank ALL involved for making this great game free to the world. And I would like to ask if there has been any news as to the petition ? are the talks still going on ? What can I do to help ?  If you started with the arts and crafts portion I have a large ball of yarn and some glue . I have no talent for making anything but I can glue the chairs that the    Activision people  will sit in and taunt them with the yarn till they give in !  Grin

Glad you love UQM.  I think the letter writing campaign has pretty much died down.  TFB is still working on Skylanders.  Originally, Alex wanted to collect letters to show Activision execs how much interest there is for a SC2 sequel.

Not sure if yarn taunting is the way to go.  Wink  They'll eventually break free and their lawyers will bring a reckoning upon you.  However, if you try it out, let me know how it works out.

There are lots of ways to help.  Support independent games.  Check out sci-fi games and see what they have in common with Star Control.  If you have Twitter, tweet about these games and mention Star Control.  If you are a member of any other communities or discussion boards related to video games or sci-fi, post about Star Control and how independent games are becoming more popular thanks to social media and crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter.

If you're artistic, create something for all to see such as a drawing that is inspired by Star Control.  We just have to show the world that the Star Control is very active and vibrant and not only has TFB created a highly successful collectible-toy/children's game franchise, they can use all of that talent to create an awesome epic science fiction game that can stand on its own.

I hope this helps.
