Damn I love me some SC2. Thank you to all the crew at Ur-Quan Masters for this project.
I still have the box from my old PC version.
Question: How impossible would it be to incorporate Star Control 1 campaign mode? I really miss the 2 player strategy and building.
I know, another noob asking for unreasonable things when you already provide miracles. But hey, you pamper us, only natural we get spoiled.

Any reason to play that over the Genesis ROM of SC1?
Last I knew PC SC1 had terrible bings and dings for sound.

The Genesis version is notorious for being completely unoptimized (by TFB's own admission, since they weren't given the time to do so before it was rushed out the door by Accolade) and running very slowly. I suppose you could consider that a major gameplay difference, if speed is important to you.

There is also the Amiga version, though. Basically the same as the PC version, but with SC2-quality sound effects (and SC2's Ur-Quan music in the title screen) and some minor errors corrected.

SC1 having terrible sound in DOS is normal? I assumed it was an issue I was having with DOSBox.
