As some of you may be aware, the current version of The Ur-Quan Masters still has some crucial dialogue missing - among them, dialogue that reveals the true Mycon homeworld is not at Beta Brahe. This has bothered me for a long time.
There have been numerous more or less successful attempts to replace this dialogue, but most usually focus only on one line.
Having been unsuccessful at securing help from amateur voice actors, I've decided to give this a shot myself, for all three crucial lines. With the assistance of Trebor from the Audacity forums, I think I've managed to fairly closely re-create the original audio effects used for the Mycon voice.
Please listen to the three lines of dialogue below, and let me know if you'd consider these as a decent enough approximation to be included in a mod to re-implement the missing lines:

Alright, sounds like this might actually go somewhere (no ETA though...  )
I'm also going to work on the Melnorme a bit, which unfortunately seems a lot more difficult.
Now if only I had a super-girly voice I could try the Syreen too and fill in all the 'critical' missing bits....

This is good enough that, unless you're specifically listening for the change, nobody will ever notice that anything is out of the ordinary. Good job!

It definitely sounds different than the original Mycon, but ... it definitely sounds like a Mycon. I'm not sure if what TiLT says is true though, since I was specifically listening for the change...

I noticed about the same amount of difference that I hear between the initial Chmmr voice and the Chmmr voice starting with "You are fully prepared for the undertaking", or the difference between the normal Probe voice and the Probe voice added for the coordinates in 0.7.0.
