It is slightly difficult and unreliable, but here is a tutorial about it:

If you don't have an opponent ready, you should join the #uqm-arena irc channel at irc.freenode.net to hook up with someone. That is also explained at the end of the tutorial.

If you join the IRC channel to arrange a game you should visit the arena some time during the "American evening" since that's the time most people are online.

Weekends are good too, if you can manage that. People's online times are much more likely to align across things like oceans on a weekend. Smiley
