commonness of random crashes?
« on: February 25, 2003, 12:20:30 pm »

Just wondering if other people experience random hanging during hypermelee. Even with disabled sound, no open-gl, and normal windowed resolution, the hangs happen anywhere from five minutes down to ten seconds into a hypermelee match for me without any error messages. Is this normal at this point in the port's progress? I don't want to bug report it because as I can't isolate the hanging to certain conditions it seems silly to just say "it hangs in hypermelee".

It only ever hangs for me when things collide, and that bug is reported.

It's been happening to me since 0.13.  During melee the game freezes and then quits.  It's annoying cuz i've been in some good battles when it happened

If you see a crash where no two objects were colliding, you should report it.
