3DO Movie Files?

Anyone know if they can be implemented? Or where I'd find them?  (The intro and end movies for the 3DO version I mean)

Hi,

There is a post about this over in the other FAQ....

Q: Why is there not an ending or opening sequence?  Where are the opening and ending videos that were originally included with the 3DO version?

A: The PC version slide show opening and ending will mostly definitely be included in an upcoming release, if they are already not there.  

As to the 3DO videos, the codec that they are encoded in has not been reversed engineered yet, thus the videos are not available for playback in their original format.  The project does not want to include TV Output captured versions of the videos just as of yet because of the loss of quality.  Finally, there are copyright issues (TFB doesn't own the videos) to be worked out, if ever.  More information and issues about the videos have been discussed with the core team in the past.  I think we'll just have to wait and see if they are able to be included in the project.  If you can't wait, the videos themselves can be downloaded via PNF if you want to check them out.

Hi,

They are most definitely there.  Make sure you have a FilePlanet account and you login before clicking on the link to download a file.  That usually fixes most problems.   Also, if it says file not found, try "reloading" the page, it usually picks it up for some reason.

I wish FilePlanet was better, but its not.  The files have NEVER been deleted before.  FilePlanet is just a little problematic.
