Hi,
I try to netplay with a friend. Ports are open and when I connect to the remote host the game even makes the Connection Sound. But then it says "Bottom Player Connection closed". When my friend tries to connect to me he has the same issue. As I said, the router ports are open (tested) and we tried to deactivate the Windows Firewall too. Same Problem.
I recognized that we cannot choose Network Control at the Player menue. Just Human Control and the Cyborgs. Is there something missing or whats the Problem?
We both have the actual Ur Quan Masters HD Version installed.
Can anyone help please?

I suppose the first thing I'd do is see if you experience the problem with The Ur-Quan Masters. (Not the HD mod, just The Ur-Quan Masters, vanilla.) If you don't have the same problem there, we can conclude that the trouble you're experiencing is specific to the HD mod.

Okay. Netplay works with vanilla version of the game. So the problem seems to relate only to the hd mod.

Same problem here, on Windows to Windows, or Android to Windows, bummer!
0.7 works fine
