Oddly enough, it didn't work for me either until I replaced "-c=sai" with "--scale=sai".

Make sure you don't use OpenGL forcing option ('-o' or '--opengl'). For some reason SaI and SuperSaI don't seem to work with this mode enabled...

I've tried every variation of the tag for scaling and it refuses to work...

Anyone running win and have this command working?

Right-click the game's tag on your desktop, choose 'Properties' from the list then enter your command line right after the quoted path in the 'Object' field.

BTW, '-c=mode' stuff doesn't seem to work, but '-c mode' does.

i'm having the same problem under linux. i run my screen at 1600x1200 resolution. I would like to play the game and do other things at the same time, and i find the default a little bit small. I recently compiled the tarball version 0.1 and beleive i have all of the necessary libraries. When i pass the -o argument, the opengl driver seems to load successfully :

OpenGL renderer: Mesa DRI Radeon 20010402 AGP 1x x86/MMX/3DNow! version: 1.2 Mesa 3.4.2

yet when i pass the -res=800x600 argument, the window is still the same size. i have tried not passing the -o argument, and trying to use the --scaling=sai, supersai, etc. but this also did not give the desired effect of changing the window size.

Following is a list of the software that i have installed :
xfree4.1
debian woody sdl libraries (i compiled sdl mixer myself for ogg support)

Anyway, i'm sure there might be loads more of relevant information on my system, but i'm not quite sure what that might be.

Thanks in advance for the help,

mathieu

in reply to my previous post... i've got everything working now. turns out all i had to do was get rid of the = sign.  Turns out --res=foo and --res foo both work, but -r=foo does not work, which is the switch that i was using.

thanks for reading everyone,
