I mean, what if you got every bit of biological data, every rainbow world, everything the melnorme wanted, would that add up to enough to see why his bridge turns purple? or even see a bit of information about his home or why he collects bio info.?

The answer is quite simple. No, it's not possible to get even 12,000 credits without hacking your save file. They didn't even program in any further conversation on the purple bridge.

65,535. The variable that stores your credit balance in the game is only 16 bits wide, meaning it can't possibly hold any more. Then again, if it's possible to get even half that in the game w/o cheating, I'd be amazed.

In my project, I've already gotten to 1,000+ credits from biological matter. And I've only mapped out about 8% of the total systems. If this is about consistent througout the universe of SC2, there should be about 12,000 total Bio data, plus the 5,000 from all ten rainbow worlds.
