I'm watching TMNT with my children, and I got to thinking... Umgah look a lot like Kraang.
Anyone else notice similarities like this? Just a quick check in my head doesn't result in anything.

Krang is far more anthropomorphic. They both draw on the classic 'brain in a vat' idea, drawn in the direction of 'freestanding brain-being'.

Also very similar are the Spemin from the old game Starflight, released in 1986 (1) and 1989 (2).
I wish, there would be a remake for this too with better graphics, it was a great sci-fi adventure game.
By the way, Star Control was inspired by this game and has a lot of marked similarities to Starflight.
