Greetings!
I wanted to give you guys a head's up that on Tuesday (1pm EST) of this week we will be opening up the Founder's program to get access to the upcoming beta of the new Star Control game.
We are also re-designing the StarControl.com website this week to coincide with the update which will include pages for Star Control 1/2 and 3.
We would be happy to also provide links to the Ur-Quan Masters download if you would like as well as post any fan art or other assets under the Star Control: Ur-Quan community page we're working on.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Thanks!
-brad (Executive Producer of Star Control: Origins)

Looks nice overall, but the planet view seems very wrong somehow - the scale of things is off. The screenshot showing Alpha Centauri II kinda looks like we're seeing a small asteroid - either that, or the planet has mountain ranges even taller than Olympus Mons.

Looks amazing! I'm excited for it.
For the Alpha Centauri II, just looked like a mountainous planet to me (admittedly, yeah, exaggerated).

We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

I read it, but I'm not sure what I should say about it?
It seems to pertain to founders. Or does it mean that it's no longer just founders? If it's not just founders, that's nice.
What OS-es does it work on?

Then I wonder if it'll be WINE-able.

Just got some serious answers, Apparently it will run on Windows 10 due to the directx 11 that is required for the engine to run.

So does that mean it won't run on Windows 7?

Direct X11 has been published and introduced for Windows 7, so it should be running on Win7 too. Heck, even my Vista system has Direct X11 installed. Not that I use it, but it is there.

X11 should work on Win8. Some issues may be because of the downgrade. Unsinstall and then re-install X11 Windows 8 version to test would be my advice. Some leftovers if win10 X11 may have remained on the system and are now efff'in up your system.
