I have changed some of the keys in the keys.cfg file for the game yet nothing seems to actually changed.  The game registers my left shift key as my secondary fire no matter what i try and change the corresponding button to.  Im changing the appropriate line in the keys.cfg file,, am i suppose to do something else?

you need to go into the "content" file and look for the "starcon.key" there. the one under "userdata" then "uqm" is just a back up in case you mess up the orginal file. i had the same prob too. remember "content", its in there. ~DEFIANT

This was actually a bug. The file in the userdata/ dir (~/.uqm/ for unix) should override the one in the content/ dir.
I just fixed it in cvs.
If you replace the file starcon.ndx in the content/ dir by the one from http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/sc2/sc2/content/starcon.ndx it should work for you too.

It still doesn't work for me.  The file in the "userdata" directory, I mean.
