OK this took me a freakin long time to come up with so stay with me IF YOU"RE GOIN TO READ THIS, READ THE WHOLE THING!! Words-meanings.
Frumple- apparently their home outside of True Space, they must have lived like the Arilou until they found their homeworld where the Taalo were formerly living which was not *hurt*.
House-obvious, new place, Their house taken form the Androsyth, however, they ask if the captain feels *better* yet. I'm thinking this refers to when they lived outside of True Space, where their previous home was full of *hurt*.
Campers- 1) the Orz must have just moved from outside of TrueSpace back to TrueSpace, because they also refer to themselves as campers. They ask the captain if he enjoys the *change*, from not True to True. They must have thought he was a fellow Orz? You see they seem to be initiating the humans as fellow Orz, or seers of the "pretty colors", or have the ability to do as they do. He also tells you a "secret", which is his way of telling you about this place other than True Space they come from. Then he proceeds on saying how none of the Alliance Members are seeing the pretty colors.
Expanding-Excited-they say this quite a bit after realizing you are Campers, that apparently share their same vision. They till you they cant wait to meet in *the middle*,
Dancing-Their way of traveling in and out of "their" space. they say they can make you "Go Go", being happy campers. Obvious. If you are fellow campers, they will show you how to get to their space.
Pleasant Combinations-they mention pleasant Combinations and more levels. Obvious Again. More kinds of space other than theirs. More places to visit that they can show you other than theirs.
Quick babies- The Arilou. they are from where the Orz are. Quasispace? yes. OK, here's where it gets tricky. They say the Arilou are from above and they are from below. In my opinion, this is another reference to their pleasant combinations. Other dimensions. Not quasispace, but perhaps, a different form of dimension under it. They say the cannot have *parties*, or bringing people to their dimension, when the Arilou are always jumping in front. Or poking holes in the interdimensional fabric, eluding the dimension of the Orz, and seeping TrueSpace into Quasispace. Then they proceed on telling you how beings not going to *heavy space*, move to chandrendaskar, right where the portals are popping up.
Androsynth-drum roll please.....this is what happened. The Orz always tell the human captain he is soo sticky and he can't slide with the Orz. They then proceed on talking about the Androsynth and how the Orz wanted to be connected to them. The Orz tell the humans about being able to go up, down or in between. They are of course refering to the inter-dimensional fabric. They wanted the Androsynth to do the same. Thats why they think the Captain is a *camper*, like them. They talk about the Androsynth not wanting to slide, meaning the androsynth couldnt take being forced into Heavy Space, and either went to war with the Orz and lost, or all collapsed under the fabric of Space.
More Ariou & Taalo.- OK, the Orz also mention a little bit about how the Arilou and Taalo could slide as well, but not as good as the Orz. The Orz possessed the ability to move through more dimensions then Arilou, or I guess Taalo, so they lived *under* the Arilou in the inter-dimensional fabric.
Next-they mention six or nine *fingers* ago, i dunno, decades maybe? The androsynth became very *Slippery*-or discovered a new dimension of their own. They then proceed to talk about pushing their fingers into this new town-or dimension, then he describes some Vux interference, then the Arilou come. They again jump in front. Thats it!! thats what happened to the androsynth.. maybe? the Arilou closed the gap between the Androsynth and TrueSpace, by layering quasispace over it in some way, poking too many holes perhaps.
Anyway one theory may be they were true guardians of the Androsynth, and wanted to forget about their existence, sort of to dull the pain the Arilou inflicted. I dunno, whatever, I may write some more later....

We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

I think the *Go Go* is a reference to the special weapon. This may adjust your estimation of *Dancing*, but whatever -- hey, moderator! Can we have this appended to the relevant very old thread on the same topic for easy reference?

By heavy space you mean our dimension right? I'm not sure why you would think the Androsynth wouldn't be able to take heavy space then. They were created by and of humans after all and fought all of Star Control I in our dimension without trouble.
My take on all this was always that the Androsynth made a slippery place with their IDF experiements such that Orz was able to reach them but not physically, ie. like the force that attacks you on the away trip to their cities. Orz is now using the Andosynth bodies that all disappeared as his fingers in heavy space.
Of course you have to reason why they look like fish now, but the Androsynth hated humans enough to change themselves or Orz may be screwing up the natural development process somewhere. So my take is stretching it a bit, but why do you refer to Orz as more than one entity? I thought it was pretty clear he was one being sticking fingers/bubbles/the fish bodies into our dimension...

Aaaaactually, they say "It is *dancing*!" When they attack you... It's pretty widely accepted that the word means battle at least in the usual sense of the word.
As far as I know *GO! GO!* Refers to their special weapon, the marines.
Orz will give. Orz ships have the GO! GO!. Do you know? These are best for letting go near *heavy space* planet bodies. Then GO! GO! can going fastest to enter ships of the *other*. Then it is *happy time*.
The marines are able to use the Gravity Whip maneuver. Of course, if the *above* - *below* thing is indeed a rather blatant heaven/hell comparison, then *Frumple* meaning the Orzs' home dimension and *dancing* meaning going there could be rather cool...
*Steps aside and waits for PsiPhi's arrival*

Well, see, I always thought heavy space was where the Orz came from, not the space they are in right now. My mistake.

I'll shut up, just relax GermanNightmare, dont have a hernia You know that a hernia is a hole in the stomach, right? I think the saying goes: "Don't have a cow, man." lol.
But seriously, a lot of your translations are very inaccurate in my mind. The term *dancing* in Orzese is most obviously fighting with an enemy ship, which is why they say they are going to *dance* with you when you make them angry... and battle ensues. *Frumple* is definately not what you describe it as, it's a word used to define their mood, which is not a happy one. Actually, most of the definitions or explanations for words in Orzese that you've given could never be correct, since they are nothing like the way the Orz use them in the game. They just didn't make sense for me.
