Lander bug - lame

Okay, so the lander bug is lame...

BUT!  i'm a busy man!!!

i love playing sc2, but i can't be arsed doing the BORING leg work of going around getting minerals... any way to overcome this???? (overcome the work, not the laziness ;)

Blow up enemy ships instead. You get a bunch of RU for every ship you blew up if you win a battle, so if you need RU badly you can just run around killing people and recycling their ships.

Personal favourite resource collection technique: flying circles round Mycon Podships until they kill themselves.  Grin

I prefer Spathi/VUX. Less chance of losing a ship because of bad luck (the Cruiser has absolutely zero chances of survival if the Intruder gets close, while an Eluder can at least run away quickly). Of course, accidents can happen to Eluders as well, like the time Fwiffo got fried by an Avenger that managed to swoop past a planet and get stuck to Fwiffo's Eluder in the space of a second. Ouch. At least he died without suffering too long.

Spathi vs UrQuan works pretty well too.  Just stay out of range of the main guns, and BUTT missile anything that moves.
