New/old Hyperdrive Remix

Holla, my first thred in this forum

Well, here is a remix i did a couple of monthes ago :

Make more!!! I need more, that song was ace man !!
I cant wait a month or two till u remix anouther ... leave your work now, and start making more music... that song was totaly ace, what other ones do u plan on doing?

also what program did u use to make this song??

what i did was right clicked on the link and went save target as, and downloaded it that way Grin

i think thats what i did, i dont know.... the voices in my head keep telling me i did.. Cry

well, it's nice, but somehow it's missing the tempo of the old one..

also, perhaps change the main instrument (what is that anyways?) to a guitar or something...

to be honest i think its brill my opionion, but id like to see the beet thingie changed to real drums it seems a bit too synthetic, my opinion,

i think it would be interesting to hear a eletric guitar for main tempo "censord" sugested (cool name Wink

, do u post on pczone forums)

if u want i could record an accoustic backdrop for it :S ive got an dreadnaught acoustic guitar.. prolly sound naff or a bit "romantic" see i dont know how to sample things or that? does anyone know of programs i could use to start to learn how to make music like this?

ps im really getting addicted to the UGM game i had the original i cant wait till v1.6 comes out Cheesy

Your track is absolutely beautiful. It sounds like something I've been trying to achieve the entire 4 years I've been tracking. You've got vision - and jolly good ass-kicking samples to match it. I'm slightly discouraged by your aptitude but I guess I'll survive... Grin

Hey! thanks for all the great responses!

About the synthetic/real drum opinion, well, im realy into nubreaks and electro - thats the way i wanted it 2 sound (As synthetic and computerish as i could ) - but, if anyone wants to record the solo with a real guitar, send me a private message and we'll see what we could do

Yes im working on some other projects right now, but im sorry i cant post it here becouse of legal problems Embarrassed

Wow, this track is really sweet! At first I didn't think it would fit the realm of Hyperspace, but as the track's started up and I start to dig the techno synthetics buzzin' in the background, I can't help but love this track! It wouldn't work very well as a replacement for the Hyperspace music, because the song starts off a little slow (and you don't really need to be in H-Space all that long), but it sounds great as a cover...! Sweet remix, man!

I think your take on this classic song is really unique! Your skill with this sorta thing is really displayed in this killer track.

nice track! The intro may be a bit too long though, if the whole song was the techno feel, it would probably work better in hyperspace.

Agreed - this track would be great for in-game music... if you're flying to, say, Groombridge from Alpha Giclas by way of Pavonis without stopping in the middle... with only the two basic thrusters.

Yep
Excellent remix.
However, It doesnt really suit hyperspace.

Sounds more like the music that would play during the credits.

Your track is a little too slow to replace the original hyperspace track in my mind.

Dont get me wrong tho, I love it, it sounds great.

Is there any way you can do another one using the same samples, but make it conform a little more to the original in terms of tempo e.t.c
?

This is the best Starcontrol remix ive heard to date, youve got potential mate.
