Egg Case problem

Hi!

I've a problem ;-)

I've found the egg case, but I sold it to the Druuge (for the rosy red sphere). I now can't complete the Mycon/Deep Children/Syreen mission. I read about this mission after I got stucked and started to read a walk throught.

I should've read it before ;-(

Do I need to start the game from the beginning, as I've almost all other things finished according to the walkthrough I read, so I don't like the idea to start it again.

can anyone tell me how I can fix that problem. thx!!!!

There's 2 more egg cases in mycon space. You can still complete the quest.

and you can't sell the last one, so the game keeps you from being screwed over that way.
Besides, there's lots of other things you can trade for it.
A caster, 50 crewmen, your portal spawner (blegh!)

My problem is that the Druuge don't talk to me anymore after I killed 4 of them at Zeta Hyades to get the Bomb ;-)

but if there are more eggs I'm glad, thx for your help!!

Yeah, they don't particularly like that you did that.
Just run around looking at planets in the Mycon's sphere of influence. Eventually you'll find a nice orange world with what you're looking for.

Yeah, I found it some hours  ago, I wouldn't had looked that closely without your tip, that there are more than one.
