If you are not using OpenGL, UQM can only be run in 320x240 or 640x480. With OpenGL, you can use any resolution your hardware supports.
To specify the resolution, add the parameter "-r widthxheight" to the command line you use to run UQM. To use OpenGL, add "-o", and to use fullscreen, add "-f".
The procedure for using command line parameters depends on the OS and environment you are using, so I can't be more specific than that.
Example: I start UQM using "uqm-debug -f -o -c biadapt -r 1280x960 -q high", to get full screen at 1280x960 using OpenGL with biadaptive filtering and high quality sound. It looks great if your graphics card can take the strain.
