Sorry to ask, but is there any documentation on how to work with the key mapping configuration files? I saw something about using the file 'override.cfg' on the .uqm user directory, but I can't find any good specification on what should go in there. How do I map keys there? Is there a list of valid key names and mappings?

Hi,
I've tried to change the controls in game, but it only seems to affect Super Melee and ship navigation. I can't change the keys to navigate through main and in game menus. By the way, I'm using version 0.7.0-1 on OSX 10.13. Any suggestions?

Is there a way in the code to modify the keys used for navigating the initial menu? On my arch linux installation, the gamepad is not correctly recognised by UQM so it's difficult to control the menu. After remapping, the in-game controls are fine, but the initial menu seems to operate differently.

Not in the code but the config files.
I don't know if Arch does anything different than other distros but you can usually find the key configs in the home directory under ~/.uqm/ unless you've specified a different directory through commandline.
