1.What kind of poster you are
I mostly lurk. If I feel I have something useful to contribute that hasn’t been said yet, I’ll chime in. Otherwise, I’m content to read the various postings.
2. Best moment in SC2
Imitating Dogar and Kazon for the first time and getting the Ilwrath to say silly things like ‘dwe’ and ‘yuubuu’.
3. Favourite book ever (one or several)
The Gap Cycle – Stephen R. Donaldson
Catch 22 – Joseph Heller
London Fields, Success, & The Rachael Papers – Martin Amis
4. One hobby
Aside from gaming? Hmm, well I really enjoy good live music. Especially the local variety played by some of the garage/punk bands in the area.
5. What you are/want to become in the real world.
Nerf herder.
6. A fun fact about yourselves.
My neighbor’s kids think I look like Harry Potter.
7. Anything else that feels valid and important
Looking back, it’s really only by pure chance I got into this game. For reasons unknown to me to this day, one of my buddy’s grandparents decided to buy him a copy of the PC version of Star Control (maybe around 1990?). My local buddies all totally loved the game and we would play it to death whenever we went to his house. Then one day I saw Star Control II in a display case at the mall and couldn’t believe my eyes. My friend bought it a week or so later and we were blown away. The rest is history. (I was a Mac user back then, so I never had SC2 on my own PC until I found UQM 0.2.)

I am a lurker, I don't post... Ummm... Expect rarely
2. Best moment in SC2
Arilou at the ending credits and the starting cinematic & music.
Music was stunning, I had to watch that cinematic few times, whoa.
3. Favourite book ever (one or several)
Way too hard to choose. But here are some:
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, several of Weis&Hickman Dragonlance books, Hyperion series. Alastair Reynolds scifi books.
4. One hobby
Coding, I suppose. I also like to read a lot.
5. What you are/want to become in the real world.
I work as a programmer in a large mobile phone company, though I'd like to code something more interesting. So maybe I'll start my own company someday.
6. A fun fact about yourselves.
In almost every picture that is taken of me, I look like I was photoshopped badly into that pic.
7. Anything else that feels valid and important
I wonder if this community could create "true" SC3, I'd be even joining. Though getting the background story is difficult, because everyone has hes/hers own ideas of it. And that also affects every part of gameplay.
