Or are you referring to the whole Talana sex scene?
Hehe. That was kind've what I was getting at. It's kind of a defining moment in the game. Well, at least for the guys... hehe. I like the name "Rage"... I don't know if it's particularly serene or innocent like a feminine name might be perceived to be, but it certainly suggests your captain is one prepared to kick some evil, alien butt.

I figure it would go well with a Captain whose race is all at the mercy of feral caterpillars.
I find that moment quite amusing really. Cute, too. Especially given how much of a naive lil -boy- the captain clearly is.
And I already covered said as much, but even if I had problems with taking the game too seriously, *shrug* I'm bi anyways, so it's not like I'd be freaked out.

I wasn't the kind to take Star Control 2 too seriously... the fact is that I was pretty young when the game first came out. Yep, 6 years old... maybe 7 or 8. I had some idea of what was going on, but I certainly wasn't intereested or intrigued anymore than that. You can imagine how scarring and emotionally-disturbing such a moment could've been for such a young tyke like myself! It certainly didn't help that I thought all girls were yucky and had cooties at that time in my life.

*laughs* I feel bad for that scarred lil 6 year old boy. Poor guy!
By the way Ceo, I believe someone posted earlier their attempt to tear through the ring of sentries around the Sa-Matra--- and supposedly went at endless fights for 20 hours before giving up.

Perhaps it ends up this way once you have the bomb and the game has triggered the final segment. I know that before I had the bomb installed its quite possible (and extreamly easy to do with your own ship} to kill off each one of those stacks. They have 14 ships in each.
