ZEX explains that it's a trade for a certain item if I recall.

As far as where it is, it's a bad hint ZEX gives, but the Traddash will tell you exactly where it is if you get cozy with them.

If you seek the VUX beast, befriend the Thraddash. Or, optionally, skip the thraddash, and go direct to Delta Lyncis. Look for the living thing that tries to eat you. Bring an anti-bio lander shield. Or a lot of crew. Prefereably cream filled crew. Shoot it.

For helping him, you get...well, attacked. What did you expect? He's a VUX, and a perverted VUX at that. Fortunately, he's a perverted VUX with a very poor security system on his ship.

On the ruins of his planet, you'll find several frozen females of a certain marsupial race. I suppose you could use them for your own perverse pleasure, if Talaana doesn't do it for you. Or you could sell them to the Druuge, if you don't mind going directly to hell to fellatiate cacti when you die.

....you probably be better off finding a male of the marsupial race though.
