I finally got around to compiling the cvs version.
« on: April 24, 2003, 06:03:57 pm »

A few questions:

My build is sigficicantly larger then the one from strikers build.  (his= 668K mine=1.92 mb)  Did I do something wrong?
I used vc6, this time I didn't get any warnings.

How do I add a patch from the bugzilla db?

Well, there's a couple of things that could be causing this. First of all, if you compiled the debug (uqmdebug.exe), that's going to be noticably larger. Also, if you downloaded static libs for say SDL, ogg vorbis, or SDL_image, that's going to make your executable pretty hefty in size, as well.

Oh I think it was the debug, how do I build the normal version?  Does it matter?

I don't remember exactly in vs 6, but I believe you should have a build menu, and there should be something along the lines of "configuration" and you can select the release build instead of debug.
