Yellow really gives the AAAGH I'M BEING CONSUMED IN FLAME impression better than blue.

The Blue Fried was one of my favorite improvements, and the Green Flagship engine was one of the parts I missed. I wonder why TFB chose those changes...

I never even noticed. A green engine and yellow fried sound better to me, though an orangey fried would be even more fiery.

How to tell you play too much SC2.
I mean, I hadn't actually noticed the change! That floors me that you're even asking.
However, since your asking, the yellow fried is cooler than the blue, but the engine color I could go either way on.

about the change in engine color. this was done, i thought, because in th pc version not only is the front of the ship's window green, but so was the engine. this, to me, is a little confusing, and there was times i thought i was pointed one way only to travel in the other direction. red, on the color wheel, is oppisite green, thus giving contrast, and making it easier to know wich way your pointed.
blue fried. it goes better with the black space background. at least thats what my wife would say. ~DEFIANT

I liked the green engine, but I did NOT like having to squint to tell which direction my ship was facing. Maybe instead of green engine and turquoise bridge, a green engine and a bright yellow bridge?

Kohr-Ah, efficient? We don't need efficiency. We lay waste to planets, not bothering to mine them; our main weapon is a gigantic sheet of metal. We shoot hundreds of them in battle. No, we are not effiicient. But we are effective.
