hangs in win 2k
« on: December 02, 2002, 11:58:27 am »

Hi, im totally new to the game but am liking the alpha test alot.  Anyone have an idea why it often hangs/gets stuck/freezes when comming out of hyperspace?  seems to have more problems when running auto pilot.  Sometimes instead of hanging it'l stop refreshing the screen leaving trails behind my ship and not displaying the menues and such on the right side.  I havnt been able to get it to hang recently, but ill try to copy and post the dos output when it does.

it hangs on autopilot as you enter a system.  its been patched in the new unreleased version, as seen in the changelog file, but for now, just hit a directional arrow before you enter a system, disengaging autopilot.  it annoyed the funk out of me till i figured it out =)

and the fill er up cheat works with the melnorme...
