exactly which folder would the battle and hyperspace music be in?

I'm probably just missing them. but all these folder names go with the wierdness of the race names Tongue

Open up the folder lbm and sort by type - you'll see some .mod's and .ogg's of such names as hyper, battle, arispace, etc....
