That was a very good book... Twisted, as Gaiman tends to be, but very interesting, fascinating and entertaining...

Imagine, if the same applies in the SC universe, Dogar and Kazon are probably walking around somewhere looking for Zelnick right now... Ouch...

As a side note, I wonder if the Umgah have a religion?

My point is that having the syreen squeeze might not be very comfortable either.

I realise that, it's a scene from the book that is hard to forget. I was just rambling on.

Never read American Gods. Sorry.

I think I'd be willing to take a chance with a Syreen, though the glowing eyes may be a little distracting.

I don't know what version of the game YOU played, but it was pretty freaking dark in there for me.

Still, they do have very bright eyes.
We haven't established whether Druuge eyes glow in the dark. Any volunteers to find out?

From the Wachowski bros?
Wink

One of the problems is that the more money offered the more valuable it is perceived as being, because there is a demonstrable fan base supplying it. So Accolade wouldn't sell the rights for cheap, especially now that the game is GROWING again.

So, everybody stays off this board for at least 6 month to devalue SC2?

Seriously, is Accolade still around?  Didn't they declare bankrupcy and close shop already?

Atari owns Infogrames which owns Accolade which owns the rights to the name "Star Control"

If anyone at Atari reads this, know that we, the people who will buy and judge a SC# game, will only buy it if FF and PR3 work on it.  If they don't it will be another flop like SC3.

A little complicated, isn't it?

I think it would be too much to ask that someone from Atari would be interested in checking out the UQM message boards. Sad

Didn't think about that when I was watching the film. Though I have thought they always have seemed familiar ...  Wink

Eh, isn't it a little more like Infogrames bought Accolade, so there is no Accolade anymore and Infogrames changed their name to Atari, so there is only Atari now?  Roll Eyes

Still, what's the need of using the actual name "Star Control"?
I know it means a lot and everything, but wouldn't you prefer that Toys For Bob released a "very familiar" game, with the name... "Star Controlle", or something like that?
Is that possible?
Can you think of any other names?
