SC2 for ever!!

For german fans

This post is for all, who interested on a german version of SC2.
I hope, my german text is no problem or break a Forum rule Wink

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hallo,
Ich frag einfach mal in den Raum . . .

I don't think that there is any specific rule about posting in English, but it has been the custom around here so far.

As for a German version of UQM, some have tried, but I do not think it is completed yet.

Yeah, how goes the work on that GM? Gotten any further?

And GDPS, do you really intend to rerecord all the speech? That is a HUGE project (if I got it wrong, sorry, but my german is a bit rusty...)

I still say you should get in touch with GM (German_Nightmare), he's already started on this, so if you pool your resources it'll go faster

Hi well I thought I would just be an occasional lurker on this board and yet, here I am...

I would love to participate in such a project. I'm a student in languages and I'm currently living in Braunschweig although I don't know for how long. I'd be delighted to help out with the translation, perhaps with the voices too, who knows, hey that would be an honour (; I'm unfortunately not very knowledgeable in he field of programming so it would the kind of mutually beneficial alliance of minds anf might, the kind where I do exactly as YOU say, lol. Let me know if I can be of any help...

Well, the project is more a part of UQM itself.

And it shouldn't be that hard to organize project elsewhere. Make a webpage, list what has been translated and what not. Work through emails, ask people for inform you and send the translated files to you. You update the webpage to avoid duplicate work.

Put the webpage url here, and if the project starts going well, maybe you can get it linked to UQM's links page/news or The Pages Now And Forever.

See? Just be a little more initiative Smiley
