I feel it might be beneficial to the UQM virgins out there who have joined us to know that this is not the only board for fans of this game. There has for years been boards populated by old time fans of the game that might be of interest to you young'uns.

First off http://www.classicgaming.com/starcontrol, also known as the Pages of Now and Forever or PNF, has long been the hub of StarControl related activity.

http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~starcontrol/ is PNF's official boards and has such sub boards as is sometimes more appropiate for some of these topics, such as "suggestions for the next StarControl," and "Tips, Tricks, and Melee Strageties."

http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~timewarp/ikonboard//ikonboard.cgi is the official board for TimeWarp, a fan made StarControl online melee. TimeWarp itself hasn't seen an update in a little while on it's offical site, but timewarp is nowhere near dead. Check it out if you like.

Most of these can be found from http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~starcontrol/boards/ on PNF.

Yep, Hopefully Baltar will be done with the site update soon.
If you dislike fileplanet's slow service, youBastrd! just recently put the May 02, 2003 version on sourceforge: http://sf.net/projects/timewarp
