Question to the developers.
« on: June 08, 2004, 06:50:24 pm »

I was wondering if the UQM+ patch was going to be merged with
the vanilla UQM source tree? After applying and playing with the
patch, it seems to be be stable and the mods were turned off
by default. My point is that I think UQM+ should be merged with the
main project because:
1. It's fun and expands the game.
2. The game isn't changed, by default, keeping with the idea of
a straight port.
3. It saves fools like me from applying the patch each time a new version
comes out.

Your thoughts?

This hasn't really been discussed.  However, the patch probably won't apply to the newest CVS version already, due to the beginnings of the "official" setup menu.  UQM+'s options at least need to be folded into that once it's there.
