how many VUX in the planet

when i get into the planet. sound alert ,then show conversation or fitght manu , i fight with VUX .  i beat 72 VUX ships,but it is not end. i don't know how many VUX ship..  could some tell me how many VUX ships?

They have an infinite number. The developers made a few points in the game where you are unable to suceed by force.

In a way, I really admire this kind of persistence. I would have given up after the first ten ships, more so with the incredible number of ships visible in the "red alert" screen.

On a more serious note, there are some areas where there appear to be a lot of ships, but you _can_ fight your way though. When in doubt, I have a
rule of thumb....Kill 12. If they keep coming, run.

There are 319 VUX vessels around the planet; after that, an infinite number of Ur-Quan Dreadnaughts arrive to ZEX's aid.

Two more examples of lots-of-ships-but-finite are the Umgah and Mycon battles.

Also... there are actually only 10 ships, but they produce them faster than you destroy them.

Not to be too nit-picky, but the druuge battle also sends a non-infinite amount of ships.
