Tmaul and me got this ported to XBOX, there was a lot of issues regarding paths since xbox doesn't work with relative paths - but absolute.
Still, must say it looks 1000 times sexyer on xbox with its TV chip than the pc ever could process
We had to change a lot of the path code so I dont know if we'll be able to integrate it easily with the current code, but we'll put it up later on either way.
thx, Love the game !

in progress page : http://www.kja.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/sc2x/
some ingame pics :
It seems to be fully working, but we have a team of testers trying to finish it in order to locate any possible sideeffects of the port. Not heard anything yet tho, should be fully released in a couple days if nothing weird comes along.

it was designed for modified regular modified xboxes, no linux involved. Testers haven't mentionned anything so far regarding bugs, so I guess it's ok to release altho noone has even played it half-through.
One thing that worries us atm is that we couldn't get the zipstuff to work, so the resource-files had to be unpacked to the full 13000+ files. We're still working on that ofcourse.
the chances are pretty good that we're giving up on that and release at least beta1 today/these days.

There were a few mysteries, one of them being that xbox doesn't accept / as path separation, so they had to be patched to \\ instead. No biggie really, just two extra lines in the open statement, but it took a little while to figure out.
Next problem was that in order to load fonts it looked for e.g. d:\content\comm\urquai\urquai.fon\. to check that it was a folder or not sign the stat() function. Since xbox only work with absolute paths we solved it by shaving off the two last letters =) ( that took a really long time to figure out tho - but I'm guessing it would have been avoided if we had zip working )
Ogg was a problem, but we solved it - had nothing to do with uqm core, just had a SDL with nonworking ogg support.
Tried to get into the irc channel, but what server is it on, the irc.freenode.org seems gone =)

As far as IRC goes, any of the the servers on
http://freenode.net/irc_servers.shtml
have the channel #sc2 alive and well. irc.us.freenode.net is the DNS alias I am using atm.
Thanks for making such a great game.

two ways to do it atm :
http://www.crusaders.no/~joker/sc2/
1) get the xbe, then the uqm's and unzip them, put it all into content dir.
2) get the rar-file and run the batchfile inside of it, it'll get all the files you need and unpack them, then you transfer it to the xbox.

Question... How do you get it in the X-Box? I'm part of the bunch that dosen't know how to use the X-Box like a computer, I just open the drive door and put my games in. How do you get it to work? There a way to burn it to a CD to make it more like a standard game?
