VidShot Settings

Just wondering what settings those of you who use VidShot use for recording UQM files. For me, it either taxes my computer and slows UQM down to the point of being unplayable, or I have to set the frames so low the videos look like garbage.

My machine is no slouch either, so I'd appreciate any tips.

Has any one tried hypercam? It seems to do sound as well. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it seems to do what you guys keep complaining you can't. Youtube seems to like it.

I can't help you find anything free. I've been using the registered (AKA paid too much money for) version of FRAPS, which works like a charm.

Just a shot in the dark… Try temporarily disabling all video hardware acceleration.
