You should have the uqm-0.4-content.uqm package in /Users/dave/src/uqm-0.4.0/content/packages, and there should be a file "version" in /Users/dave/src/uqm-0.4.0/content. Is this the case for you?

Hello,
It seems that if I unzip the .uqm file in the content directory things loaded fine.
Is this normal, or can't the program work with the .uqm file zipped, without me having to unzip  it.

Hmm... we renamed the content packages from .zip to .uqm so people would stop unzipping them.
You did build uqm with zip support, right?

I thought I did, but just to be exact how may I confirm that I had compiled the program with zip support?

If you do "nm uqm | grep zip_open" and it prints something like "08125200 T zip_open", you've got zip support.

I get the following output from the command:
000b8a50 T _zip_open

So can I assume I have zip support?

Yup.
How about answering my questions from my first post? Then maybe I'll be able to help you.
